Thomas R. Revnew is a shareholder with Seaton, Beck
& Peters, P.A. He advises and regularly represents
employers in proceedings before both state and federal
courts, the National Labor Relations Board, the Occupational
Safety and Health Administration, the Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission, the Minnesota Department of
Human Rights, the Wisconsin Department of Workforce
Development, as well as various other state and federal
agencies.
Since his graduation from law school, Mr. Revnew has
practiced exclusively in the areas of labor relations,
employment law, and workers’ compensation. Mr.
Revnew provides ongoing counsel and training for employers
in all aspects of labor and employment law, including
union avoidance, unfair labor practices, workers' compensation,
drug testing, privacy issues, OSHA compliance, the Americans
with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave
Act, employment discrimination, unemployment compensation,
personnel policies and employee handbooks, restrictive
covenants, hiring, discipline and discharge and other
general employment issues. He is also a frequent lecturer
on labor and employment matters at seminars, and training
conferences.Mr. Revnew has also published numerous articles
for various trade publications.
Mr. Revnew is a 1994 graduate of Marquette University
Law School. While in law school, he served as an Associate
Editor of the Marquette Law Review and was the
national runner-up in the Giles S. Rich Moot Court
Competition. Mr. Revnew received his undergraduate
degree in business administration with honors from the
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 1991. Mr. Revnew
has been named a “Rising Star” by Law
and Politics magazine.
He is licensed in Minnesota, Wisconsin and several
federal district and appellate courts.
