Brent’s practice is devoted to representing both large and small businesses in employment litigation, commercial disputes, and labor law matters. He has represented clients in all areas of employment law including, FMLA, ADA, employment discrimination claims, non-compete/non-solicitation, and other various employment-related disputes. Brent also has experience representing clients in commercial disputes including, breach of contract, construction-related claims, residential mortgage-backed securities, fraud/misrepresentation, real estate, enforcement of loan documents, and insurance coverage matters. Brent has experience representing clients through all stages of the litigation lifecycle, from initial case filing through appeal.
Brent earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law, where he also earned Dean’s List honors. He received his undergraduate degree in political science, magna cum laude, from Bethel University.
Outside of the office, Brent enjoys playing hockey and golf, and spending time with his wife and three sons.
