Robin joined Seaton, Peters & Revnew in 1996. She advises and defends employers on a wide range of employment and labor related matters including discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, retaliation, FMLA, ADA, employment contracts, wage and hour, unemployment compensation and employment compliance matters. In 2003, she served as the Deputy Commissioner and Acting Commissioner for the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, and later rejoined the Seaton firm.
Robin was a contributing editor to the Minnesota State Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Newsletter from 1996 through 2003. She has also co-authored several articles including Workplace Privacy, Real Answers and Practical Solutions (Thompson Publishing 2000) and Union Violence: The Record And The Response By Courts, Legislatures, and the NLRB (George Mason University, John Olin Institute For Employment Practice And Policy, Labor Relations And Public Policy Series, No. 25, 1999).
Robin has written Firm newsletter articles on the Family and Medical Leave Act, travel time and other wage and hour laws, job reference requirements for employers, vacation pay, whistleblower updates and developments in labor law.
